Jungfrau Region Marketing Corp. offers a reservation service for holiday homes, apartments and hotel rooms on behalf of the corresponding owner or representative. Detailed and up to date information about the apartment or hotel is compiled by us with utmost care attention. Whilst we apologise for any misprints or changes that take place after going to print, we cannot accept responsibility.
Conditions of payment:
Jungfrau Region Marketing Corp. writes a bill which acts as a contract showing how the sum is divided as follows:
For hotel reservations:
A down payment corresponding to the rate for 3 nights and a possible cancellation insurance payable within 10 days.
For apartments:
A down payment of 40% of the weekly rent and a cancellation insurance payable within 10 days.
The reservation takes effect on receipt of the payment.
The balance is payable 30 days before arrival in the holiday resort. Should the booking be made less than 30 days before arrival then the total sum must be paid.

Prices:
The prices listed in the contract are binding. We reserve the right to adapt prices for reasons beyond our control (fluctuating exchange rates, newly introduced or higher charges). No more than the number of people indicated on the contract are permitted in the accommodation.
Cancellation of the contract:
Should the tenant wish to cancel the contract for a reason other than sickness or accident, then the following conditions apply: up to 30 days before planned arrival the amount due is equivalent to the down payment. After this the total sum is payable. Should it be possible to re-rent the accommodation after a cancellation, then Jungfrau Region Marketing Corp. is obliged to refund the customer the whole sum minus a cancellation charge of SFr 50.–.
Jungfrau Region Marketing Corp. suggests that guests take out a cancellation insurance, which covers max. 80% if the cancellation is in case of sickness or accident.
Complaints:
The information contained in this system has been compiled carefully and conscientiously. Should you still find you are unsatisfied and the fault cannot be rectified directly, then Jungfrau Region Marketing Corp. should be notified immediately by telephone or fax (telephone 033 854 12 50, fax 033 854 12 10), so that the problem can be solved or suitable replacement accommodation found. Should the guest choose not to use his booked accommodation nor the replacement suggested, then no refund is possible. Jungfrau Region Marketing Corp. cannot accept any liability in such cases.
We kindly ask you to note that such complaints and claims can only be dealt with if made within 72 hours of taking over the corresponding accommodation. In addition, compensation payments can only be made if claims are sent in writing directly to Jungfrau Region Marketing Corp. within 10 days of leaving. The claim for compensation can, in no case, be greater than the rent itself. Should no settlement be reached, the court of jurisdiction is Interlaken, Canton of Bern, Switzerland
Acts of God:
Extreme situations, over which we have no control, are always possible in holiday resorts. Should such acts of God, natural disasters, and environmental problems prevent us from carrying out our duties, we reserve the right to cancel the booking without compensation. Should other reasons beyond our control prevent us from providing a normal service, we reserve the right to relocate guests in different apartments or hotels, or even to cancel the booking altogether. In such cases the amount already paid is reimbursed and no further claims are possible.
Liability:
Jungfrau Region Marketing Corp. is responsible for local reservation in accordance with the rules. Jungfrau Region Marketing Corp. cannot however, accept liability for unforeseen conditions, that are beyond our control for example:
- Breakdowns and failures in power and water supply and amenities such as heating, swimming pool, lift etc.
- Reduction in the value of a location due to environmental disasters or higher levels of noise caused by diversions, roadwork’s etc.
It is the responsibility of the tenant to cover the total costs of any damage caused during his stay. Any damage must be reported to the owner or his/her representative prior departure.
